Today I wanted to get things sorted for my blog, get myself organised like dusting off my old camera so I could have some nice pictures on here to go with what I put up.
Once it had charged I found myself looking through an old memory card that had been left in there for years and i found myself smiling and reminiscing about a trip i took many years ago now to New York.

It had been my dream since i can remember to go to the Big Apple I'm not sure if it had come from my love of the TV Series FRIENDS or SEX AND THE CITY but when i had the opportunity to go i grabbed it with both hands.
I went back in 2007 when i was ohh let me think in my early 20's, but because i was so keen to go i didn't care who it was with so thinking back i wish i had gone with some of my friends or at least someone my own age to have more of the experiences i wish i had whilst there. Don't get me wrong i had a wonderful time and experienced some wonderful things but the company you travel with can make a huge difference.
Anyway i do hope one day to go back but when i did go i was able to take time off work to go near Christmas so every corner you turned you saw huge and over the top decorations, i loved it!

I was also able to see the New Years ball in Macy's.
If i remember correctly we stayed in the Wellington Hotel which was near Time Square and Central Park so prime position for all those tourist's need's.

I didn't get the chance to go up the Empire State building as it was too foggy, also at the time i visited New York there were strikes going on at Broadway so i was unable to see a show and i could only see the green lady from a far ahh well that's why i hope to go back again.
